A couple of weeks ago I was invited to visit one of my favourite places in South Africa for the weekend. The Whale Coast is just one of the most beautiful places I have ever been and I could go back there over and over and never get tired of it.
I went for a run along the Hermanus walking trial as soon as I arrived – kilometres of coastline to run free on, breathing fresh sea air and keeping an eye on the clear blue Atlantic. Then we spent the weekend eating and drinking and taking in everything this part of the Overberg has to offer.
Could there be a more picturesque place to spend a weekend? The sea, the sky, the greenery. It was all so beautiful. Looking at these pictures makes me want to go back right now.
