Ramadan in Dubai

I once spent 22 hours in Dubai on a long layover. There was just enough time to check into an airport hotel and head out for a desert safari, which involved dune bashing, a belly dancing display and a meal in the desert. I was dead tired and it was quite a cold, touristy experience, so I didn’t really get a great impression of the destination. However, so many people I’ve spoken to who have either visited or lived in Dubai absolutely LOVE it, so when I was invited to join a group of media for a trip to Dubai with Dubai Tourism during Ramadan, I jumped at the opportunity.

I’ll be exploring some of Dubai’s icons while experiencing the festivities of the Holy Month, Ramadan.

Follow me on Twitter and Instagram as I explore Dubai from the 5th to the 9th of July. Here are a few highlights from my itinerary that I’m really looking forward to:

  1. Its not safe to travel without your Mom. I am free for your dates and have a valid passport. Where should I collect my ticket?
