This season has been HARD. My body belongs to two small boys. Spontaneity cannot exist. The kids cannot be left alone together for even a second or one of them (August) tries to 🔪🔪🔪 the other (Sullivan). My husband and I are like two really hot friends living together - they have crushes on each other but nothing can happen between them 😤🫣 But still - STILL - we are SO HAPPY?!

Pretty much as soon as I found out I was pregnant with Sully (when August was 6 months old 🥵) I started dreaming about carrying both of them like this and it was as fun as I though it would be 🥰

My husband and my sister had this gorgeous @famkejewellery necklace made for me with August engraved on the one side and Sullivan on the other. It was a birthday present and I absolutely loved it layered with my @jimnojean pendants. Sadly, I lost it a month after I got it 💔 I retraced my steps, searched high and low, phoned around, but it hasn’t been found.

The transition from one to two babies has not been without its challenges (please, I would like an award for Understatement of the Year) but 7 months in, we’re seeing some normalcy in our lives.

I’ve never spent more time planning, shopping for, cooking and feeding people meals in my life, but at least everyone is eating. I’ve never had less sleep, but we are having some good nights here and there. I’m working and enjoying it. I’m even working out! And on Friday I did dinner and bath time by myself and no one choked or drowned or had to beg the nanny to come back. Baby steps.

POV: Your husband goes to watch Deadpool vs Wolverine and comes home at 11pm with a bunny he’s named Fufu and next thing you know the vet’s there giving Fufu his shots and your toddler is having the best day of his life so even though you’re furious because you absolutely DID NOT WANT a bunny at this juncture you’re also making plans for Fufu’a hutch and adding his “favourite snack” (banana) to your already long list of family meal plans.
