Kalk Bay is a beautiful little fishing town just outside of Cape Town, complete with white sand beaches, icy plunge pools and a couple of great fish and chip shops.
This past weekend we took the train from Woodstock and spent a few hours on Dangers beach. It was very photogenic.
The train only costs about R30 return and saves you ages of time in traffic. It’s also very entertaining, with a constant stream of preachers, comedians, singers and salesmen up and down the carriages.
